A group of third graders were in for a Christmas surprise. Their teacher created an amazing basketball shot from all over the court and celebrated the victory with hot chocolates.
Kathleen Fitzpatrick promised her students, known as Ms Fitz, that she would give everyone hot chocolate if she made the impossible shot. Washington DC Earlier this week.
Celebratory scenes at the Holy Trinity School playground show a group of students watching intently and immersing themselves in the joy of the moment when the ball travels effortlessly into the basket.
“If you need proof that teachers are superheroes,” the school wrote in a social media post with the video, which went viral. “Ms Fitz threw a hyaline Mary and promised to give 3rd graders hot chocolate if she shot.”
Those photos were then uploaded on the school’s Facebook Page On Tuesday, show students enjoying drinks in the classroom of Catholic Elementary School.
The school has issued an update after staff said they were “too much” in response to the public.
“We are very pleased with the news and feedback we have received and feel blessed to have Ms Fitz allowed us to share this video, which has brought smiles to many around the world,” an ad on the school’s Instagram page said.
