According to the French media publication Capital, the club, which last year paid Barcelona $ 257 million for the Brazilian striker Neimar, concluded a deal with Chiliz, the main division of the Socios.com blockbuster platform. According to the statement, fans will be able to buy tokens via a mobile application, which will be launched in the spring of 2019.
Tokens holders will be eligible to vote on a number of issues related to PSG. Nevertheless, the club says that the holders of the tokens will not be able to influence the key decisions, for example, to buy or sell players. Instead, they can influence the choice of rivals for friendly matches, or the design of the future form of players. Token owners will also be able to take advantage of exclusive benefits (take part in matches, meet with players, etc.).
